The Basically Method of Cooking a Pig by Gas Roaster

1. Thoroughly season the meat side of the pig with salt. 
2. Fire up the pig cooker to 225 degrees. 
3. Place the pig on the grill, skin side up, and cook at 225 –250 degrees for about 5 - 6 hours. 
4. Turn the pig over. 
5. Season the meat with sauce. 
6. Cook for another hour or two.
